How QSI handles information you send through this website.
Last updated: November 2, 2026
Who we are. Quantum State Industries, Inc. ("QSI," "we") is a Delaware corporation. A U.S. company built to serve clients worldwide. This policy covers quantumstateindustries.com, messages you send us from it, and any forms we offer on it (when available).
What we collect.
- Contact form: the name, email, organization, topic and message you submit, plus the time you sent it. We do not store your IP address with your message.
- When you use the contact form, your message is stored by our website host, Cloudflare, so QSI can read and answer it. We delete it after 180 days.
- Basic technical data that our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Cloudflare processes IP addresses to deliver and protect the site under its own privacy policy (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy). QSI has not turned on Cloudflare's customer log export (Logpush), so QSI does not receive or keep these request logs.
- If you choose "Accept all" in our cookie banner, a random visitor ID that lets us count return visits, and for each page you view: the page address, your country, your device type (phone, tablet or desktop), your browser family and the website that sent you here. We store these only as daily totals plus a shortened coded version of the visitor ID, not your IP address, your name or anything you type. Country is derived from your IP address when the page loads. The IP address itself is not stored. If you do not choose "Accept all," none of this is sent.
How we use it. To respond to you, follow up if you asked us to, and keep the site working, protected and useful.
No selling or sharing. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Service providers. Companies that help us run the site and our business process data for us: website hosting, email delivery and Microsoft 365. They may use it only to provide their services to us and must keep it confidential. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.
AI tools. We may use commercially available AI tools to help sort and summarize messages you send us. A person at QSI reviews the results. We do not use AI tools to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects. We review each tool's data terms, including model training, before using it, and the tools process data under their providers' own terms.
Ask QSI assistant. Our website offers an optional AI assistant that answers questions using only text published on this site. When you use it, your question and the recent messages in that chat are sent to our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which runs the AI model (Cloudflare Workers AI) to generate a reply. Cloudflare states that it does not use this content to train AI models and does not keep it after the reply is delivered, apart from limited operational records that do not include the content. We do not store the conversation, and we do not store your IP address. To prevent abuse, we keep a temporary counter linked to a one-way, daily-changing code derived from your IP address; it is deleted after 60 seconds. The assistant sets no cookies. Chat messages are not sent to QSI staff; to reach us, use our contact form. Answers can be wrong or incomplete and are not binding on QSI. Do not enter personal, sensitive, classified or controlled information.
How long we keep it. Contact form copies stored with our host are deleted after 180 days. Job applications are kept for 2 years, as described under Job applicants. Messages we reply to by email are kept for 12 months after our last contact with you, then delete it, unless you become a client or ask us to stay in touch. The optional visitor ID lasts 365 days in your browser, unless you choose "Essential only" or clear your cookies. Daily visit totals are deleted automatically after 40 days. Cloudflare keeps the data it processes for as long as its own privacy policy describes, based on its business purposes and legal obligations; that policy does not state a fixed period.
Your choices. To ask what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, email [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm who you are.
Job applicants. When you apply through our Careers page, we collect the information you submit, such as your name, contact details, resume, and answers to application questions. We use it only to review your application, contact you, and meet our legal obligations. Access is limited to the people involved in hiring. We do not sell applicant information or use it for marketing. We keep applicant records for 2 years after you apply, or longer if the law or a legal matter requires it, and then delete them. You may ask to see, correct, or delete your application (subject to our legal retention duties) by contacting us through our Contact page. Do not include Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health information in your application.
Sensitive information. Please do not submit sensitive personal information (such as health, financial or government ID numbers), classified information, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), or export-controlled information through our forms. The forms are not built to handle it.
Cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not load third-party trackers. We use:
- Strictly necessary cookies: a cookie that remembers your cookie choice (180 days), and security cookies that Cloudflare sets to protect the site from bots and abuse (such as cf_clearance and __cf_bm). Our client portal also uses Cloudflare sign-in cookies that last up to 24 hours. These are needed for the site to work and are set without asking.
- Optional cookie: a visitor ID (365 days) used only to count visits and return visits, set only if you choose "Accept all." Choosing "Essential only" deletes it. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie banner.
Security. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards suited to the information we hold, such as access limits and multi-factor sign-in on our accounts. No method of sending or storing data is free of risk, so we cannot promise that information will never be accessed without permission. If you become a client, our engagement approach is: "You stay in control of your data. We work through accounts you own and can revoke at any time, connect only the tools you approve, and review their data terms, including model training, before connecting them. We keep sensitive data like passwords and full SSNs out of AI tools." Your accounts, your keys, your approval.
Children. This site is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.
Location. QSI is based in the United States. Our website is delivered through Cloudflare's global network, so your information may be processed in the United States and other countries. Messages you email us are stored in our Microsoft 365 mailbox.
Changes. We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new last updated date. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will tell you before it applies.
